The main square in Bruges Belgium is called the Markt (Market Square). For hundreds of years, the Markt has been the commercial market place for the residents of Bruges. This attractive square is situated between a series of old medieval houses, the Belfy Tower (Belfort) and the Provincial Court (Provinciaal Hof).
